Privacy Policy
OctoView LLC · Updated October 26, 2026
Fidget Center is made by OctoView LLC. This policy covers the Fidget Center iPhone app and its widgets, this website (fidgetcenter.com), and emails you send us.
In short
- No account and no ads. We don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- The app sends usage analytics, linked to a random ID for your app installation. It's on by default, and you can switch it off in Settings & info.
- Your toy settings, play counts and device motion stay on your iPhone.
- Apple handles all payments. We never see your payment details.
- Notifications are off unless you turn them on, and are scheduled on your iPhone.
- If you email us, we use your message only to help you.
- We don't sell your information.
Your play stays on your iPhone
The toys and their sounds are built into the app. You don't need an account or an internet connection to play. Apart from the usage analytics below, the app doesn't send your play, sound settings or haptic settings anywhere.
The app doesn't ask for access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or location, and it doesn't use the advertising identifier.
Motion
Ball, Multiball, Tilt maze and Water orb (drops) use live device motion to steer the balls or respond to shaking. Motion is processed on your iPhone and is never saved or sent anywhere. It stops when you leave those toys, pause, open a menu, or the app goes into the background.
Usage analytics and diagnostics
To learn which toys people enjoy and to keep the app reliable, the app sends usage events to Mixpanel, an analytics service that processes them for us. The events record:
- when the app opens and whether Plus is active;
- which toy you open, and whether you opened it from a widget or link;
- free tries starting and ending, and when the Plus screen is shown;
- purchases and restores: which product, and whether it succeeded, was pending or was canceled;
- notifications: whether you accepted a reminder offer, and when a nudge is scheduled, opened or its button tapped, with its toy and kind (never the time);
- coarse diagnostics when sound falls back or the 3D stage needs recovery: a failure category, retry count, time since launch, foreground or background, and a rough available-memory range.
Every event includes the app version and a random ID created for this installation of the app. That ID links events from the same installation together over time, including purchase outcomes. It isn't your name, email, Apple Account or advertising ID, and we don't combine it with data from other companies or use it for advertising. As with any internet request, Mixpanel receives your IP address to deliver the data; the app asks Mixpanel not to use it to work out your location.
Turning it off: open Settings & info (the gear on the toy shelf, or the bottom row of Customize) and switch off Share usage data. The app stops sending new events and deletes any it hasn't sent yet; events already sent can't be recalled. Deleting the app removes its install ID; a new ID is made if you install it again.
Purchases
Fidget Center Plus and single toys are sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app on your device which purchases are active. OctoView LLC never receives your payment details or your Apple Account details. Purchase and restore outcomes are part of the usage analytics above. Apple's own privacy policy covers how Apple handles your purchase.
Notifications
Notifications are off unless you turn them on. If you choose Fidget nudges, the app schedules them on your iPhone. Smart timing learns when you usually play from a history kept only on your iPhone; that history and your pop, click and squish counts are never uploaded. You can turn nudges off in Settings & info or in your iPhone's Settings.
Saved on your iPhone
Your toy choices, colors, sound, haptic and strength settings, play counts, streak and widget settings are saved on your iPhone so the app and its widgets remember them. The app doesn't upload them. Device backups, and any diagnostics you choose to share with Apple, follow your Apple settings and Apple's policies.
This website
fidgetcenter.com has no accounts, sign-up forms or advertising, and we don't use it to track you across other sites. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver pages and keep the service secure. It may give us total visit counts. We don't use this information to identify you.
When you email us
If you email hello@fidgetcenter.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. We use it only to reply and resolve your request. Email is handled by our email service providers and is separate from playing in the app.
We keep support emails only as long as needed to handle your request and meet recordkeeping obligations. To have your emails deleted, write to us from the same address. Please don't send sensitive personal information that isn't needed to explain an issue.
Who we share with
We don't sell your information or share it for targeted advertising. Mixpanel processes usage analytics, and our hosting and email providers process website requests and support emails, on our behalf. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Children
Fidget Center is for everyone. It never asks for a name, age, email or any other contact details. If you're a parent and want analytics off on your child's iPhone, switch off Share usage data in Settings & info.
Your choices and rights
You can switch off usage analytics at any time, turn notifications off, or delete the app to remove everything it saved on your iPhone. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to its use. Email us and we'll help. Because analytics are tied only to a random install ID, we usually can't match an email to an installation, so switching off Share usage data is the quickest way to stop them.
Changes and contact
If our data practices change, we'll update this policy and its date. For privacy questions or requests, contact OctoView LLC at hello@fidgetcenter.com. See also our Terms and Support.
